Funded Childcare at PArkside View Nursery

Understanding Your Options

At Parkside View Nursery, we know that the cost of childcare is an important factor when choosing a nursery.
To make things easier, we’ve put together this simple guide to help you understand the different funding options available and how to check your eligibility.

15 Hours Funded Childcare for 2-Year-Olds

Some families may be entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare for children aged 2 years. Eligibility is based on certain benefits or income criteria, so it’s important to check directly with the official Government guidance. You can find out if your family qualifies by visiting:

15 Hours Funded Childcare for 3 & 4-Year-Olds

All families automatically qualify for 15 hours of funded childcare once their child turns 3 years old. There’s no need to apply for this — the hours will be arranged through Parkside View Nursery when your child starts with us.

30 Hours Funded Childcare for 3 & 4-Year-Olds

Working families may also be entitled to up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week. This requires an application through the Government website, where you will receive a funding code to share with us so we can apply it to your account:

The date of your child’s birthday determines when you can begin using your funded hours.

For families eligible for 15 hours funded childcare for 2-year-olds, funding can begin from the term after your child turns two. Once you’ve checked your eligibility and applied through the official Government website, you’ll receive confirmation and can arrange your funded hours with us.

For all 3 and 4-year-olds, every child automatically qualifies for 15 hours funded childcare starting from the term after their third birthday. If you’re applying for 30 hours funding, you’ll need to complete the application beforehand to make sure you receive your funding code in time.

Once you’ve checked your eligibility and arranged your funded hours, the next step is to get in touch to discuss your child’s place at Parkside View Nursery.
